“I had a pleasant stay overall. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciated. The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus—there were plenty of options, and everything tasted fresh. My only concern was the condition of the shower ceiling, which appeared to be peeling and falling apart. It didn’t impact my entire stay, but it’s something that definitely needs attention. Aside from that, everything else was great, and I would consider staying here again.”

Danielle, who assisted us during evening check-in, was excellent—professional, welcoming, and very informative, especially as we were in town for a Navy graduation. “Very comfortable stay. Expand breakfast with grits or oatmeal (dont remember seeing that offered). Excellent service. Front deck was above and beyond, very nice and helpful. Only semi-negative is the carpet in the room. Not a fan.”

“The water pressure was horrible. It was like using an 8 oz. water bottle to shower. The complimentary breakfast was coffee, apple juice, orange juice, and prepackaged muffins. It was crazy!! Gone are the glory days of Howard Johnson!!”

“The egg smelling water is terrible. But the ice machine must have had a filter because it was ok. We went to the store and bought drinking water. There is a broken hand rail on the stairs leading into the hotel which could be hazardous if you didn't notice it. Bring your own bath towels, they are thin and small. If you have a river view it is nice. Nice mini frig that was cold and a nice microwave. Decent value for what you get.”

“Suite was clean as a whistle, great value. Staff was friendly, greeted me at front desk immediately at around midnight. Breakfast was good, liked the turkey sausage. Overall I had an ideal stay here!”

“Breakfast and staff were great. We had hair that was not ours in the bathroom and only one washcloth for 2 of us. When I spoke with the front desk they were very accomdating and refunded us some of our cost. It should also be noted that there is no elevator in this hotel. ”
