“Right in the heart of historic downtown Sanford. Short walk to Lake Monroe and all of the local amenities. Check in was a breeze and the room was tastefully designed and color coordinated very well. The ceilings are high and the ceiling tiles are very unique. There are artistic touches in the entire unit which makes it quite cozy and fun.”

“Overall, it was clean. Bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen were fine. There was a small puddle on floor in one of the rooms. A windowsill in the common area had a dead mosquito. Front porch furniture wasn’t clean. Didn’t meet a staff member until ready to leave. Extra supplies were provided upon request. ”

“Very old hotel, unfortunately also the furnishings, as well as the mattresses and the very squeaky bed. Bad cleaning, mildew on the shower curtains and hair all over the place. The curtains do not darken perfectly, so in the morning light penetrates the window very early. The bedroom door does not isolate from the corridor, and all the noises and voices of other guests are heard. Finally, the price paid, which does not include breakfast, was very expensive. “Great location for restaurants and river trail. Very well stocked so it is an easy and comfortable stay.”

“The Ann Stevens House was a short stay. We went to the Daytona 500 about 26 miles away. It was quaint with antiques placed in our 2nd story room. The mattress was rather hard, but not horrible. There was of plenty of parking and the room was very clean. The host is very nice and accommodating. My only negative comment is that the stairs, that looked rather new, were rough cut, unsanded and unfinished. My husband got a pretty large splinter from the banister. ”

“Amazing! They had everything I needed and were so flexible as I almost needed to extend my stay due to the storm. The vibe was great, very cool and seamless check in and access. Close to everything needed. I will definitely be returning! Can’t wait.”

“The smell of the room was so high I had to get out immediately it was stink. The pillows was dirty and smells I called the front desk with o help at all I woke up with my face swollen and my eyes red. I wouldn’t recommend this place for no one. I had two horrible there. I had to go out and cleaning stuff and air fresheners ”
