“We booked last minute as we drove north from Florida. Reception was polite, professional and efficient. Room comfortable. Excellent breakfast. We didn’t use amenities…just needed to rest. Good local pub a few minutes walk for dinner. Lots of other options too short drive away”

“Loved the location and lounge. Vending and common areas smelled nice but hallway to our room smelled like weed. Breakfast was grab and go and ok.”

“This is a very well maintained property. It is close to restaurants and shopping. The bed was very comfortable and loved that the shower was very low entry. Our room faced the sign for the Burger King next door, but the blackout shade completely blocked any light from it during the night. There is a restaurant on the main level if you don't want to go out for food. It was very quiet and our sleep was not disturbed by others coming and going. It was a very positive experience.”

“The Baxa Inn is a modest inn nestled near the heart of Buckcannon. Our family of 3 stayed 2 nights for a family memorial service and the staff went out of their way to support our needs during a difficult time. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower was refreshing. At a good price, was perfect for our needs.”

“Inn is convenient to the town. Ice machine was broke, was told I could go over to the restaurant on property. Looks like they are working on improving the place.”

“They were doing construction ,that's what the desk clerk says as to why the filth. I never stayed there it was to unclean for us. The clerk was nice and honest so I appreciate that.The pictures that Expedia has is a hoax . They attempted to give us a room with a door that leads to the next room with some kind of chair against it with advanced notice that there may be a lot going on with the neighbors but just stuck it up. They couldnot/would not refund me or referral to sister company. I...

“Overall good property. It has some wear but was very clean. Had nice outdoor ammenities but was not really a focal point. Could be tidied up. Pet friendly is huge plus and those with dogs were respectful of others. Oddly, we ended up with an accessible room. The bathroom was accessible in terms of grab bars and plenty of space in the bathroom. This was not a lowered sink but could probably work for a person using wheels. The door bell, however did not work. The dining table would have to move...
