But to my surprise, I discovered the day before that I couldn't gather my friends and family to celebrate my birthday at the residence. Even though I respected the noise and schedule rules, the host stated that only 16 people are allowed in the residence, even if they're not sleeping. “Horrible communication, host cancelled a day before my trip. As it was a festival we were attending so room rates were astronomical . So here I go 3 hrs on the phone with Expedia/vrbo to make sure I would get a refund. Worst experience ever.”
