“Our main concern was that the air conditioner in our room sounded like a jet taking off. When the A/C would click on, it would hum (normal - no issues with that), then after a few seconds the room would abound with a thunderous noise for a few minutes. Once the room cooled, it would go quiet. Seems like this occurred a few times during the night.”

As an old organizational lodge, it has some quirks which we loved. We had a private bath but next time we'll save a few bucks with the shared bath option, using the lusurious provided robes, also perfect for the hot soak pool ofuro (you can cool off in the hallway shower).
