“I booked Upjohn House but was told I had to come to Henderson Castle to get the keys, and I should stay there instead. It was nice enough, the setting of Henderson Castle is beautiful.
I had a lovely French breakfast my first morning, but when I came down the second morning, no one was around, I was told breakfast was from 6:30-9:30, and I was downstairs at 7:00. So no breakfast the second day, I was really disappointed as I left the place.

We called them, the supervisor was very disrespectful saying they didn’t find it and the hotel is not responsible for anything we left behind, she said it not in a nice way and disrespectful manner. “Not sure what was going on with this location. I spent three nights here. The last 24 hours was unbreathable. The entire place smelled like a sewer. Especially the fifth floor, where my room was. The staff was not even concerned. So we took for granite. This was a regular thing. Very nice location just not happy about the smell of the place.”
