“10 Out of 10! What fun we had. Such a laid-back vibe, thoughtful staff, wonderful pool and spa amenities. Highly recommend for an out-of-the-box experience!”

“All and all our stay was perfectly fine. When we arrived at the hotel our room was hot. The a/c was completely shut off. And they should have some sort of outdoor seating, even if by the front door. They didn't even have any seating on the outdoor patio by the indoor pool. Just a blank slab of concrete. A few adjustments or improvements in that area. Close to downtown without the higher price so that was nice.”

“I was a little hesitant to book because of the low price. But we loved this place the grounds are beautiful a pond in back with three camp fire rings and grill. Pool was very nice. It’s a old hotel but in good condition we will definitely rebook in the future. They have lots of chairs out side to enjoy the grounds.”

“I still had to check in at the counter to get my key even though I checked in on line. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Great location.”

“Historic Building, beautiful hardwood flooring and decor. Feels like your staying at a friends house, instead pf a hotel. Staff is SO nice and helpful. They treated you like family. They offer you a free breakfast from scratch, no buffet and they have it ready for you at the time you designate. It's amazing! On top of that if you are an amenities person, they a free Happy Hour where they off free local beer on tap and local wines along with a charcuterie board your mom would be proud of. ...

“The hotel seemed fairly new and was in good condition. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean . The breakfast was a little better than most other hotels free breakfast . I liked the gravy and biscuits and the bacon! The hotel’s location was nice , I enjoyed watching deer right before sunset in the field behind the hotel . It had amble amount of parking and the location was quite”

“Had to wait 5 minutes for front desk to arrive from Waterpark for check in. Wall was leaking , blinds wouldn't go up or down with auto switch that was exposed on wall. AC did not work. I give a 1 star because after about 30 minutes at 430AM did the front desk switch us rooms so we could finally get some sleep. Since all booking is 3rd party, there was absolutely nothing to do about our room outside of switching us for 4 hours. The breakfast looked horrible as well so we didn't even eat that...

“The room was okay but the elevator was broken and the ice machine on the 1st and 2nd floors were broken so it wasn’t the best stay.”

“Vibrant colors and comfortable lounge area with breakfast was nice. Free parking was excellent and easy to access. Room was mostly clean but shampoo/conditioner had not been refilled before my stay and were not refilled on my cleaning day. Staff were somewhat helpful but not as helpful as they could have been, especially regarding the snacks for purchase when they were not willing to point to something I was looking for even though I asked and instead let me find it myself.”

“There is no lake view in a room that said it was lake view. It was clean. The king-size bed was beyond terrible. It was like 2 twins pushed together with a very lumpy mattress topper. No closet. Very tiny room. The hand sink was in the bedroom. The house was built in 1883, if it had been haunted it might have been worth the $250. It was neither haunted or worth the $250. ”
