“This place is awful. It was advertised as air conditioned but the air conditioner blew hot air alternating with minimally cool air so it was worse than if there were no air conditioner at all. The room was upstairs in the lodge building, which is old and not well maintained, so it was many degrees hotter than the downstairs. The decor was worn and the beds sagging and too soft, and the staircase to the room was narrow with uneven stairs, some too steep, others too short. The manager was nice...

“We had a wonderful stay! The area is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the cabin was cozy, comfortable, and perfect for a couple. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. We didn’t use the hot tub because we spent our time relaxing at the Pagosa hot springs resort instead. We only saw the staff once when we arrived, but we were busy exploring the area and didn’t need anything during our stay.
