- Non mi è piaciuto:Pulizia, personale e servizio, condizioni e dotazioni della struttura
Very very very bad... we didn’t go into our weekend with high expectations but somehow the Downtowner still disappointed us. We were with another couple and both had a room reserved for about 6 weeks and stayed for 3 nights. When we first arrived we were each given a room where literally the doorstep was in the icy parking lot. The rooms we were originally given had barely any furniture, barely had a window and were very dark. Our one friend described it as an “opium den” and he wasn’t wrong. Very disappointed that they would give us these rooms when we had our rooms booked for several weeks and were staying longer a weekend. We complained at the front desk and were transferred to two rooms that were only slightly better. Both rooms barely had any furniture, and were not clean. There was a thick layer of dust on the fan in the bathroom and the carpet was very dirty and not cleaned very well. Important to note that their lobby/ front desk is not open 24 hours. What was really disappointing to us is because of this the lobby closes so we didn’t have anywhere to play a card game, and even the ice machine and the pop machine were locked up in this area. It was super dumb that we couldn’t get any ice after 8 pm on weekends and 6 pm on the Sunday we were there. The bed and pillows were not comfortable and the hotel was very noisy. We were woken up at 6 am from noise in the alley of other buisinesses. In comparison we stayed at Stumptown Inn recently and found it much better value.
