“Excellent location for visiting IWM Duxford and only 10 minutes on the train to Cambridge.
Janet and Simon couldn't have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were really good with options for all tastes.

“Very nice country hotel in the countryside near Duxford IWM, reasonable rooms, beautiful old building, free parking. All fine except the shower temperature knob was stuck on "burning hot" and when I reported it to reception upon checking out I was told.. "it's the customers' fault, they keep forcing the knobs out". Had the response been "Sorry sir, we apologize" my overall opinion would have been different.”

Siamo arrivati alle 4 di mattina per mega ritardo del volo… scambiando messaggi con l’albergo abbiamo avuto istruzioni precise per accedere comunque alla nostra camera… abbiamo trovato il divano letto da aprire e rifare, e alle 4 di mattina è stato spiacevole! The only thins is the price, on the site it says 4,50 pounds each one, on the phone 8 pounds for two and when the guy arrived he said it was 12 pounds for two... anyway it was the best option, 10 min from the airport, the left us at Radisson blue hotel and from there it's 3 min walking through the airport til the departures. I would suggest this structure.”

“Allison and cliff are very friendly and great cooks. The breafull English breakfast was outstanding. The rooms and home was so comfortable. I enjoyed being a about one hour outside of london and being able to explore the countryside. Cambridge. Castles, the north sra, and many other great sites.”

“The Pub was a grade 2 listed building which was a 1700 era the best way to describe it is Quirky! . The internal pub area was full of history and upstairs the rooms fixtures and fitting new with the decoration being fresh but sympathetic to the age of the building. the food was good Pub Grub and the cooked breakfast was great Full English or Full Scottish Both filling and well cooked, served piping hot! Lovely outside area and caters for Dogs. ”

"Mancava l'acqua calda; abbiamo chiesto alla reception e ci hanno detto che il guasto sarebbe stato risolto in 10-15 minuti. Purtroppo non è stato risolto. Il termosifone della camera da letto non era funzionante. Abbiamo chiesto il prezzo del taxi per l'aeroporto e ci hanno dato un'informazione sbagliata. Sono arrivato alle 9 di mattina, facendomi registrare al loro portale, mi hanno concesso il check in anticipato gratuito. Camera che affacciava sulla stazione ma non si sentiva una mosca. "The housekeeping was a joke. For a 5 nights stay they never cleaned the bathroom (just changed the towels and the toilet paper) and never changed the bed. They took the garbage from the room though, daily . You have to get used to live in your own dirt.
Breakfast was average with limited choices. Restaurant offered outstanding food of superb quality and taste, but the menu was limited. The gym is way above average and top notch for the level of the hotel. The SPA was superb and offered the best in class products. If you want a superior SPA you truly have to struggle to find one. WiFi was excellent and stable. The staff in general was young and inexperienced, but the tried their best."
