“We had a lovely stay at this hotel and really couldn’t fault it all. The staff were lovely, warm, friendly, very kind & obliging, the room had all the facilities you needed, was very clean, quiet and had fabulous views. The food in the restaurant was very good & offered a nice selection. The continental breakfast was perfect (muesli, granola, mixed berries, yoghurt etc - all my favourite things) & they even provided oatmilk. Above all that it was exceptional value, so we’ll definitely come again...

The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all consisting of excellent locally sources ingredients expertly cooked. The property was conveniently located a short drive from Chatsworth House, Bakewell and a number of other tourist attractions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again or to recommend to others.”

“Maz and crew were great hosts for the 2 nights we stayed! The rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms had a hairdryer, shampoo and body wash and an iron was available. Close proximity to the bus station and footpath to Chattsworth House. It’s about a 25 minute walk from the front door of the hotel to Chattsworth House. Several dining options within a short walk. Wouldn’t recommend getting off at the Grindleford train stop for this hotel, as taxis were nonexistent....

“I was a bit hesitant staying at a Marston hotel due to previous experience bit this property restored that. Staff from outset were welcoming and the rooms was better than expected. Food in the restaurant was amazing. Overall the 2 day stay was well worth it. Would deffently stay here again. ”

"Non male nel complesso. Le stanze sono abbastanza spaziose e luminose. Faceva molto freddo nella mia ed anche se ho chiamato due volte per alzare la temperatura è rimasta la stessa centralizzata.
