“Room was very conveniently located close to my bike. Very comfortable and clean. Pool was not useable. Staff was excellent. Parking was very conveniently located close for access to room to unload luggage.”

“We stayed on 9/3/26. There was a running seafood refrigerator truck that ran all night parked right outside our window. We talked to the person in charge they did nothing. Could have made them move the truck as the lot was not full but told us we could at 11:30 pm move our king bed to 2 doubles. Lmao. Was supposed to stay again on 9/9/26 but thank goodness our truck broke down 50 miles before the hotel. Had to stay at another hotel which was much better. Will never stay at this hotel again. “The house is beautifully nestled in nature and, while it’s a bit of a drive from the New River Gorge, it’s ideally situated for exploring Summersville Lake. The construction doesn’t always have the most meticulous attention to detail, but what the property lacks in craftsmanship, it more than makes up for in thoughtful design, quality of light, character, and atmosphere.
