“Roda helped us out with a mistake done by the previous front desk worker in getting us into our room for the two nights that we booked to be at the Sunshine Lodge, making everything super smooth and friendly she took care of us just like she would do something for herself which make me really happy to choose this location. We will be back just because of Roda! ”

“Great place to stay for the price and walkable to town if you don’t mind the hills. There’s a bus stop that can take right downtown and walkable places to eat. The outdoor space is smallish so be prepared to have limited privacy out there. We love staying here and will definitely be back!!”

“This is a quiet, well maintained and luxurious home with breathtaking views of the forest on the ocean. There is a swimming pool and a hot tub, both of which are clean and well-maintained. A lovely breakfast was included, which made it a very good value. The host, Lili was warm and welcoming. With only a seven minute drive to restaurants and a fully equipped shared kitchen, this property is recommended.”

“The owner was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and the view from our private balcony was awesome! We are always on the lookout for whales and this location was perfect. We spotted about 20 separate humpback whales at different times including a few mothers with active, entertaining calves. Putting the whole experience together it was a fantastic bargain.”

“THE VIEW, the location, and the service and kindness of the owners were all far above what I expected. We felt safe, comfortable, and had plenty of space for our family. The huge balcony and the epic view were so special. We watched whales at sunset right from the comfort of our balcony. There are some exterior shared spaces with other guests, but we never even saw anyone else on property. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back! ”
