“We had an unexpected stay at this hotel due to a ferry cancellation, it turned out to be a very positive experience.
When we arrived, there was an issue with a double-booked room, which was clearly a system error. However, the front desk staff handled the situation professionally and patiently explained everything to us. They quickly arranged an alternative room for our stay.
Although housekeeping had already finished for the day, the hotel went the extra mile by calling staff back to prepare...

“We stayed here for our wedding weekend April 17 - 19 2026. Great ocean view rooms up on the upper floor. Friendly staff and front desk workers. Unfortunately the coffee machine wasn’t working in the lobby, but there was Gourmet Girl Cafe a 5 minute walk which was helpful. Clean rooms and beautiful ocean views.”

“This is my second time being here.
Rooms are clean and practical, Staff is friendly.
Noise is an issue. It sounds like clicking or knocking two stones together from next door. It started during midnight that lasted for hours.
Last time it was the heavy steps from upstairs.
So I guess sound proofing is an issue.”

“We got stuck in the area after the ferries were cancelled and lucked into a one night stay here, and now we can’t wait to come back. They were so sweet and helpful receiving unexpected guests. They went out of their way to accommodate us and help us relax. And wow it’s so beautiful. I went birding first thing and there was so many birds. I could see eagles and seals from our room. It is truly stunning, but I still think the staff were my favourite part!”

“This place is such a gem! It's clean, tidy, close to the beach, a short drive to amenities, and quiet.
I stayed in the romance suite with my six year old in room C (the one at the end) and it was MAGICAL. Beautiful trees, a salmon stream, and trees right outside the window. Beach across the street you can walk to and collect rocks.
