“Would have rated this higher except that there were a couple of times that I smelled cigarette smoke near the entrance due to workers smoking right outside the front door (one time I saw the worker, the other time it seemed that way but I didn't see it, just could smell it by the breakfast area). Would suggest not allowing workers to smoke that close to the entrance. I am a big fan of Holiday Inn Express & Suites and probably the main reason is due to how smoke-free they keep their hotels.”

“Our first stay at one of your properties. There seemed to be a few things missing…a clock in the room, shower gel, and make up remover wipes. These are regularly included in other hotels where we’ve stayed. The breakfast was very good and Warren, the breakfast attendant, was very helpful and kept items well stocked and extremely clean. He makes a very good waffle too. Our room was very comfortable and the staff pleasant and helpful.”

“Good stay. Air conditioning was a little difficult to control but was working also water never really got hot in shower. But stay was good and hotel was clean”

“The staff was extremely nice and always willing to help. The woman working breakfast was just fantastic. Rooms were clean and adequate. I felt that our charge for the room was very fair. Our only concern was area seems to be changing. Closed businesses or ones that usually come in when decline begins. ”

“This is a hotel that needs some updates. The drain in the bathtub was very slow. The faucet had to be in a perfect position or would drip. The carpet was well worn and the walls had ripped wallpaper and the woodwork was well worn. The hallway had a strange odor. Breakfast was not a typical Choice hotel breakfast. There were very few choices and like many hotels if you are diabetic your choices are almost nil. At least they recognize they are not a 5 star hotel. On the back of every hotel...

“Worst hotel experience ive ever had. I was greeted by a guy on a kiosk screen. It was a red roof and i booked in advance without cancellation protection as there were not many options and the price was right and the reviews were not terrible. Oops. A sign outside the hotel said “new rooms” 😂 new grey vinyl planking a few years ago. The property was dirty. The stairs and upstairs hallway was too. There is no elevator. My room had filthy sheets, worn and stained from the laundry. Deep cleaning...

“The heat didn’t start getting warm until the next morning we checked in at 8pm and then when time to check out the 3rd shift worker left before the 1st worker got in. So I had to double back to get my deposit. We waited for about 30 mins with no employee on site. I live out of town had a appoint appointment so for me to have to double back was very inconvenient. ”

“This is the 3rd time we have used this hotel only due to its closeness to our location and price. They require a $100 deposit they dont tell you about until you check in. “Checking in the front desk was arguing with a guest. Cops were called. The cleanliness of the hotel in general was disgusting. It smells musky.”

“Rooms need lamps/outlets updated to allow usb plug in. Smart TVs would also be a nice touch. Had a small issue with the room that the GM personally addressed. Dinner was lackluster, but for something that’s free it’s serviceable. Staff an the overall property were both A+ though”

“While the hotel is recently renovated, it still isn’t great. Many of the doors had lock issues - we spoke with several people who experienced key & lock issues during their stay. We experienced it 3 times. The pool is still under renovations, which was disappointing for the kids. But, when I looked back, I didn’t see the pool advertised which made me feel a little better. We stayed here because our whole team stayed - not because we picked it. The front door design is not friendly with luggage...
