“This hotel is next to an event space that played extremely loud music all night way into the morning. I was unable to get any rest. I checked out in the middle of the night. As I was checking out I was told that I could not be refunded for my stay. I stated that I was not trying to get a refund I just wanted to check out. I was not offered any type of discount and no apology. I feel like the situation could have been handled differently. I wouldn’t stay here again. ”

“We loved our stay at The Brown Hotel! Charming older hotel. Restaurant/bars were wonderful, staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. Location was a little away from 4th St and Whiskey Row, but easy 1 mile walk to attractions. Highly recommend The Brown Hotel!”

“Room was fine for a quick stop to get a good night's sleep before running out to railfan up the road at the nearby Ashbury tracks and then drive back north. Our roomkey said breakfast was served at 6:30 am which we had planned in but when we went down the doors closed and a woman came out and said it's nit ready yet and would be at 7am.
