“Clean and quiet even tho on a busy road. Cute garden in the back overlooking the river. Helpful staff, good breakfast. Pet friendly and had everything we needed.”

“It truly was not a very clean room. There were splatters of beverages on wall by garbage can. Also, some kind of splatters on wall above desk. Behind door in bathroom had not been cleaned or swept. We got fresh towels only, no making of bed. It wasn’t a quiet place. Also, no blow dryer in room which I haven’t seen in many years.”

“My sister and I booked the Allen House for the 4th of July weekend. We loved the property and the house is absolutely stunning. If you love old historical homes it's a great find. The owners were very kind and helpful and the food was so amazing!! We loved their dog captain and the room was very cozy and cute. “Overall a terrible experience! My room smelled really bad. A strong oder of chlorox bleach mixed with a fowl oder. When I went to check out, The man at the front desk was helping a customer getting her a lid for her coffee. She said to him that her room had no black coffee, just an empty bag with no coffee. He did absolutely nothing, said nothing to her. I also had to wait outside awhile he locked the office to check my room so I could get my deposit back. I do not recommend this place to...

“Super clean and comfy with quiet dark rooms. Amenities were nice as well. We only stayed one night so we didn’t get to take advantage of the pool or other things. Staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was a good selection and pretty tasty.”

“Property was old but well kept. You could see some bubbling and peeling from the paint/wallpaper. Some of the carpet areas were thinning. Front Desk staff at check in an check out were great. Breakfast looked amazing. I didn't eat much other than coffee and yogurt, but the were a lot of options to choose from.”
