“This was our second time staying here, it’s definitely going to be our go-to when we visit my parents. It’s a great value for your money, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice and there’s plenty of parking. Last time we stayed here, we had to move rooms in the middle of the night because we found centipedes in our room (not the hotel’s fault, bugs will find there way inside ANYWHERE), and the staff was super helpful in getting us a new room on a higher floor. “This is one of the worst hotels. I have ever stayed in it was very unclean blood on the wall above the bed The bed was horrible to sleep in and what was supposed to be a two night stay only turned into a one night stay.no amenities to speak of And I would have been better in downtown Atlanta in crackville/methville Then stayed in this motel. I would not recommend staying here for someone's pet we came home and immediately got into the shower. I'm thinking we may have caught bedbugs That's how...

“Old, old, OLD and smells like cigarettes. No public restroom at check-in so if you're checking in, take a leak in the parking lot before you go in.”

“The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”
