“While the included breakfast is far from perfect, it’s far better than the old buffet offering, which had become less attractive with every visit. Small improvements are evident throughout: fresh paint, nicer bedding, and other little touches add up to a more pleasant stay. Before the branding change, this hotel was very tired and showing big signs of its age.”

“Our flight got cancelled last minute and we had no place to stay overnight. I quickly booked a room here not even thinking about the fact that I'm not 19 yet. When I checked in, the manager said they would make an exception. If they hadn't, I'd likely be sleeping on the floor of an airport. Thank-you so unbelievably much Holiday Inn.”

“We travelled to Halifax for a family reunion and stayed 5 nights. The single most impressive thing about the hotel was the staff. Jamilah and her team in the breakfast room were amazing. Always with a smile they worked so hard! Thank you Jamillah!!! The rooms were great, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good! My only tip is that parking spots were tight and we had a large van for touring so it was a tight squeeze. Highly recommend coming to Dartmouth, the 20 min trip into Halifax was fine. ”
