“This is a beautiful, new and modern Hilton. Staff was helpful and friendly. Stayed at Hilton on Mayo campus for ease of getting to appointment. You can leave your car parked at hotel and the free shuttle takes you right to the door of any Mayo building you need dropped off at. Saves time on looking for parking and walking to building for appointment. They have a bar if you choose to visit. A gorgeous outdoor pool. A wonderful breakfast for an additional cost, if wanting breakfast. Well...

“Room wasn't the cleanest, shower was gross, it was intensely noisy, and someone tried to bust into my room while I was there. Glad it was only a one night stay but I wouldn't stay again. The front desk staff I met were not friendly or inviting.”

“The evening front desk was very rude. I had called and questioned the person if they charged for dog's? She asked about what kind...and how large he was. After I informed her he was 5lbs...I got the okay and the online says they allowed dog's...it DOES NOT say SERVICE DOG'S ONLY... So the charge was more than the room but i had no other choice but to pay it ...it was already dark and the surrounding area was definitely not where I wanted to go searching for another room. “We know the hotel can't control the weather, but we were surprised by the lack of effort to offer some kid friendly activities with 4 straight days of rain. Other issues we encountered: 1) our shower looked like it was never cleaned. The same 2 pieces of hair were stuck on the tile when we arrived and left. Lots of mold too. 2) my husband took my tween daughters to the gym with him (since we were all going stir crazy from the 3rd straight day of rain!) They were rudely informed at the desk...

“This historic hotel is right downtown in the best location for walking around. The pool and hot tub were a nice reprieve from the heat and we could head right back out into town. St Augustine is a beautiful, fun town and we were glad to stay in a hotel that matched the Spanish, historic feel. Definitely recommend staying here.”
