Hotel a Canandaigua

“I feel like I over paid for the room. The room price was about $375. We weren't sure if the room was cleaned before we arrived. The shower didn't drain properly. We came down for breakfast at 9:30 and most of the food was gone. If I paid $175 for the room I would have been satisfied. For $375, I was expecting better.”

“Stay away from this place!!! Upon arriving to the facility and traveling through the large pot hole filled parking lot, we were first greeted by what I assume are permanent residents sitting next to the entrance that definitely make you wonder if your safe as they silently stare at you the entire way in and look rather sketchy. When you walk inside a very unpleasant odor of what I believe is moisture/ water type issues hits you in the face which leaves you second guessing the decision to stay...

“The property had its sign painted black so you couldn't tell the name of the hotel. Could not see anything identifying it as a Motel 6. The street number was on the building, but no name. There was a handwritten cardboard sign taped to the outer wall that said "Pick up you animals Poop" in marker. The hotel clerk was sitting on a bench oustside and greeted us with a shout that the hotel was booked up. I said I had a reservation. She yelled back they were booked and I needed to contact who I...

“I can give 5 stars for cleanliness and value. But this is a 2 star property. Small rooms, no closets in the rooms (just hooks on the wall), limited breakfast, elevator not working, etc.”

“Upon arrival we were directed to a room that reeked of cigarette smoke. Supposedly this is a non-smoking property. We were given another room but it was not a King as we had reserved. The entire property shows very visible signs of wear. We would not expect to return to this location in the future.”
