“One of my favorite stays while I visited Nicaragua. It is not only because of the amazing views or the beautiful rooms, but the staff. They are warm and friendly, building connections and community. All staff members were great, but Keiling, Alejandro, and Omar went out of their way for me. ”

“it's away from the city, very peaceful. If that is what you want it is perfect. If you want to walk around at night or have nightlife, this is not the place, but it was incredibly peaceful, the staff was amazing, food was delicious. We don't have a single bad thing to say about Espino”

Negative: We booked a room with full board but were told upon arrival that the hotel did not even offer full board, that just breakfast was included. Hotels.com needs to look into this issue!! Water in both pools had an oily surface, not entirely clean.”

“Acceuilli par le sympathique propriétaire (français) en personne, j'ai rejoint, en sa compagnie, la petite île (privée) de Zopango sur son bateau.
Sur place, j'ai rencontré son épouse ainsi que le personnel attaché à l'ile.
Ensuite, j'ai pu leur emprunter un kayak et aller faire un très agreable tour dans les isletas.
J'ai été ensuite le seul occupant de l'ile pour une nuit (en dehors du personnel).

“The trails through the jungle around the lodge are incredible, and very well maintained. The owner and staff were very attentive, and I felt completely taken care of, from the moment my plane landed, until my return flight took off. The lodge owner matched me with a guide, Harold “The Tiger,” who took me on several grand adventures, hiking, kayaking, birding, touring white towns. This was the best stay I’ve ever had, anywhere! I plan on returning, soon. I can not recommend this place enough!!”

Within a 10 to 15 minute walk there are local bazaars, a park, and many dining options not to mention local sights. The rooms too are fabulous - spacious, airy and nicely airconditioned. Alles war sauber, klimatisiert und ruhig.
Das Personal ist sehr höflich und zuvorkommend.
Der Ausblick ist gigantisch und das Wasser der Lagune schön warm.
