“I recently stayed at the Snowshoe Lodge in Lake Placid, NY, and it was an absolute gem! The lodge was super cute and impeccably clean, creating such a cozy and welcoming vibe. I especially loved the separate living area with a kitchenette, which made it so convenient for relaxing and whipping up quick meals. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—within walking distance to the charming downtown Lake Placid, with its shops and restaurants, and just a short drive to some fantastic hiking...

“This was a fun place to stay. Kind of quirky, certainly unique. Clean and spacious and with a Scandinavian vibe. Could have used an extra hook or two for towels and the sink was a challenge as water tended to splash over onto the floor. Free use of bikes and an outdoor sauna added to the special atmosphere. They also offer a couple of glamping options. Cool. We tried the breakfast basket option one morning. Sharp idea. We would stay here again, without question. ”

“Living accommodations are spacious. Two BR's with a queen in one room and twin beds in the other. Nice big living room. Giant dinner table and a big and well stocked kitchen (in terms of dishes, utensils, glasses and cookware. ”

“The bathroom was new, clean with no mold. The fridge was working properly, it was not freezing the food like the previous hotel I stayed. Also, I liked the lobby decoration. The only thing I didn't like was the fridge being inside the bathroom, but it was not a big deal.”
