“Really lovely hotel, the lady on reception was great- so welcoming and friendly. Room was perfect just for a small get away over night with a lovely restaurant and beer garden. ”

“Lovely accommodation, with friendly staff who were very polite and helpful. The room was very tidy and clean, the only con would be the mattress was slightly uncomfortable with old springs. We overlooked that as the property was perfect for us. ”
“I'm in a wheelchair so requested an accessible room. One of the best/most accessible rooms i've stayed in. There is a big wide ramp out front with plenty of disabled parking. Room was large and open for maneuvering and bathroom had a sink, shower and toilet setup that was well thought out and simply just worked. "excellent hotel, old but charming for that reason, super location, in front of the castle and many restaurants, pubs and shops. The room is spacious, beds are comfortable, breakfast is excellent, staff helpful and efficient. We tried dining at their restaurant and everything was amazing
