“Breakfast the first day was better - excellent bacon. Staff were really friendly. Evening meal was reasonable but problem with the card machine suggested my card was declined when my online bank showed the payment went through when I added my pin. I was able to show this and the staff were apologetic. However an hour later I had a phone call asking me to return to pay and I had to repeat the story. I was not required to show evidence, which I could and the staff were helpful.”

“The name says it all this is a lovely old hotel in a great location. I had an overnight stay after seeing a show at the Opera House opposite the hotel. I booked a double room and was given room 32 on the 2nd floor. A spacious room with a lovely bathroom which had a great sized walk in shower. The bed was comfy and I had a great nights sleep.
