“This was our first time in Chicago. My sister and I saw this Best Western as a convenient choice for the Pokemon GO! Fest of 2026. Wow, what a beautiful building! Very safe too. The lot is lit so brightly and is next to a small banquet hall so we weren’t scared about coming back to the room very late. The room was beautiful; comfy sheets, updated TV and nice amenities. The staff were so friendly to us upon check-in and held our bags both at check-in and check-out so we could go explore the city...

“I knew we were in trouble when I saw the carpet in the hallway. In the room the floor was sticky. Every step in the room we could hear our shoes peeling off of the floor. The shower was dirty. I had to wear crocs in there. The baseboards were filthy. There were streaks of varying colors on the walls. It had a heavy, sour/sweet weird smoky smell. “My room was dirty, and smelled like wet dog or mildew upon arrival. Was highly upset and the hotel was fully booked out so I could ‘t even ask for another room. The shower was really bad at keeping the water inside the shower-well which caused the water to seep into the carpet no matter how many towels we put down. Couldn’t take a shower without there being a ginormous puddle of water on the floor. & the ac barely worked which made the room even more humid/mildew smelling. Would not book this...

“Rooms are better than the outside looks lol - the room itself was clean. We were staying for a nearby festival so it was the perfect place to basically just crash and get ready for the next day.”

“There was no charging port in the room, the clock was not attached to anything and the cords were frayed. The room did not have a black out shade so my room was fully sun filled from 0515 till 2030. The hair dryer needs to be replaced. Room 320.”
