Hotel vicino a Akarana Golf Course / Keith Hay Park - Auckland

“The balcony is really nice. The toilet door doesn’t shut. Make my room light go off as I pull the card out, so room cleaning was not done. Despite telling the staff and at the reception verbally, the making the room was not done for 2 days during my stay.”

“The unit was spacious, had separate sleeping areas, good bathroom and kitchen facilities. It was quiet. The staff person allowed me to change my booking to a larger unit. Helpful.”

“Staff was great, room was super-clean, breakfast was fine. The building itself is small and we were on the first floor and could hear people coming and going.”

“The house is absolutely gorgeous and the rooms were perfect sized with a large ensuite bathroom and air conditioning. The host Linda was lovely and accommodating and very helpful. We would definitely recommend Aachen House!”

However, please note that the economy studio has one tiny high window, but is essentially a windowless block bunker under the back of the building. There is no natural ventilation, light or outlook. “Personale molto cortese, stanza molto bella e pulita, ottima posizione. Anche il ristorante ottimo”

“This new place is a welcome discovery, perfectly positioned just a hundred metres or so from the Newmarket Train Station (direct CRL into the city) and also the Newmarket shopping district with Westfield, cafés etc. The rooms are very nicely appointed, the bed linen of excellent quality and the general ambience very pleasant. It presents excellent value in comparison to many other options - we will definitely we staying here again.”

“Good quiet stay, clean room and bathroom”

“Super clean, free bottles water and snacks, great value for money”

“It is a beautiful accomodation, it has all confort and the staff is very kind..if I will come back in Auckland, I would to go here”

“Great place to stay, and would recommend to others.”

“The room was exactly what we were looking for. Clean and modern. A great location at a great price and plenty of parking. We will definitely be staying there again.”

“Worst hotel in Auckland ”

“Stayed here a few years ago & loved it. This location was perfect for our visit, handy to everything we wanted. Can walk to every thing, 15mins walk to muesum & domain. Eateries galore, pool & gym nearby. Catching train or bus to city easy as! Our room had a large balcony that didn't have the greatest view (ugly buildings & carpark buildings) but certainly got the sun & even the train noise wasn't that bad as some reviews have mentioned. Was a chilly weekend so being on the sheltered side was...
