“Nice quiet spot to spend the night. Rooms only have a bed and minium space. But, the main building has all the comforts of home. Refrigerator, restroons, fireplace, books, guitar piano. Very comfortable. Also outdoor firepit. Serve yourself arrangment. An envelope with my name was posted on the door. Key was in the door ready for me. Includes a patking spot infront of your cabin. 3 miles from Seward.”

“Just wonderful. Really comfortable bed (which is what you want if you're doing a lot of hiking). Historical building, with the oldest bathroom in Talkeetna (with a plaque to memorialize it). Check in at the bar downstairs, a great place to meet the locals (and their good looking dogs), on site restaurant. Note: there is no elevator, you have to bring your bags up the steep flight of stairs yourself. Loved it, would definitely stay again.”
