“Check in was quick and easy, the only problem for me was hauling my bags up the outer staircase. The room was clean and reasonably spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the en suite shower room was also clean.
Jacqui was very pleasant and helpful, and I would happily stay here again.”

“This a small working farm with I believe 3 rooms at for the bed and breakfast. The building was build in 1740. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we even had a private bath. The owner was absolutely amazing, she was friendly accommodating gave us many suggestions to place to se in the area. My wife said she would come back to England just to stay here. We loved this place ”

My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary in the New Forest, never stayed in this area before and were are so delighted we chose The Forest Park Country Hotel for our stay. It really is a fantastic hotel.”

“Stunning hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping had left a little note by the bed, hope they liked their note when we left! Breakfast was amazing, great selection of food. Gardens were beautiful and having the walks across the road topped it off. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Kostas is a credit to you, amongst a few others, unfortunately didn't get their names. We will be back.”

“We stayed for two nights. One adult and two children the room.waa clean and spacious and thr beds were very comfortable, we had everything we needed. The food was lovely and every member of staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome.”

“Lovely place in the New Forest, easy to find but lives up to is name of "Retreat". Everything was really nice, bathroom was enormous with a large tub. Shower was blocked so avoided but didn't cause issues.
When we did have an issue with the door it was sorted in person straightaway. Only marked down "comfort" because the mattress was too firm, but that's each to their own. ”

The restaurant on site gave us options, as did the large patio area at the back, giving us a peaceful spot for a picnic. Easy enclosed walk around large field around back perfect for a dog walk. The hotel is on a busy road, but this does give east access to seaside and New Forest. A fridge in room would have been helpful to keep...

The executive room is big, but has two huge columns within it, at night when I got up to go to the toilet, I ended up hugging one of them :) I had some allergic reaction to the bed linens, not sure for what exactly, but it would make my skin itching while in touch to it. Walls are really thin, I could hear the noise of my neighbour room's toilet.”
