“I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means.”

“We know the hotel can't control the weather, but we were surprised by the lack of effort to offer some kid friendly activities with 4 straight days of rain. Other issues we encountered: 1) our shower looked like it was never cleaned. The same 2 pieces of hair were stuck on the tile when we arrived and left. Lots of mold too. 2) my husband took my tween daughters to the gym with him (since we were all going stir crazy from the 3rd straight day of rain!) They were rudely informed at the desk...

“A very nice property with a New England vibe. It is right on the beach, with food nearby. The included breakfast was excellent.”

“look I asked if it was possible to get a early check in because we were checking out at 5 am they said they were booked solid but they will see what they can do. got there early to see if I could check in dude at the counter hooked it up free upgrade ocean view king sweet just a great experience all the way around 10 outa 10”

“Clean facility, friendly and helpful staff, spacious and comfortable rooms, fresh breakfast with a daily change of hot menu items, good coffee, and a variety of juices, milk, and tea also. Within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants and shops and within a short driving distance to many others.”

“Property is amazing and home renovation and condition was outstanding, unfortunately we went on a cold weekend and the room was freezing (60°F) with no way to adjust temperature. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. These conditions resulting in almost no sleep.”
