“When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome.”

“ Spacious studio. Great hot water. Very comfy bed. Close to Main St. Owner continues to improve the little things. Older home with squeaky floors. neat and clean. Not very posh but all set up. Overnight parking 2 short blocks away. ”

Gave us detailed information on accessing the property. We did not have any issues but she made sure to be available to us by reaching out to us on the day of arrival to make sure we received everything. This property was clean and well taken care of,”

The pictures do not do it justice as it was much brighter and very clean inside, from the lobby to the room. We are seniors and easily walked to the harbour with shops and restaurants. “The property was very clean and comfortable. It is on the second story so requires some effort to get your stuff up there. The location was exceptional. Coffee shop next door and good restaurants (especially the Brown Hound) practically across the street. 1.3 miles from the downtown boardwalk. 35 minutes from Peggy's Cove.”
