“We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)”

“We were very disappointed with our stay. The room was clean but way too small we couldn't even unpack and we kept getting caught on the cords to the TV when walking by from the bathroom. Speaking of TV, there was nothing to watch except static. They rely on you connecting your own Netflix, Amazon or Disney account. ( if you have one), Rooms were loud. “Room was clean, we'll maintained. Lobby was nicely laid out and had fruit infused ice water. Tea and coffee 24/7. Staff were warm and welcoming. Nice hotel. 15 minutes to the Harbour, 20 minutes to the Halifax Shopping Centre and 4 minutes to Brayers Lake Oulets and stores.”

“Stayed ,1 night July 2026. Everything met our expectations. Windows opened to allow for a breeze. Could not find an elevator but we were on the 2nd floor so no big deal. Quiet, clean, great location. Parking spots on street were all taken so parked at the multistorey lot across from MEC. Very expensive - $32 for 16 hrs”

“The unit itself was clean and tidy and organized the front door handle to the building is massive and almost fell off every time I went to open and close the door, knobs in the shower fixtures and handles were falling off and the hot tub doesn't have much water pressure so it takes an incredibly long time to fill.. Property all in all was nice on a quiet street and the place is very clean, the keypad door handles were an absolute pain and always stopped working. All in all this is a great place...

“Be aware of the room you are choosing. We stayed in Aft Castle room 6. The online pictures show living areas, kitchens etc but we had one very small room and small bathroom, with no additional living areas, not representative of the photos. If you have mobility issues, this is not your room, as it is three floor walk up. As well, there is very limited parking on site, with overflow parking one block away.”
