“When we arrived there was construction happening next door with loud equipment and blowing dust clouds. This left outdoor areas unusable and very dirty. The garbage bins out front smelled like rotting fish and were crawling with maggots. Beware of very steep downward driveway. “Lovely 3 bedrooms. Has a shared kitchen. Hosts are lovely and very accommodating to any needs. Stayed with another couple. Each room has mini split so great when weather gets warmer. Not hard to find with maps and back deck is large and accommodating. ”

“Myself and three others stayed in the suite for one night. It was easy to check in, clean, and well decorated. The place is a bit worn in appearance and some supplies were too low for one use, like coffee and dish soap. The beds were comfortable which is always appreciated. “We had people visiting from out of town and wanted somewhere with room for us all to stay. The ArtBnB was so charming, the decor was colourful and quirky. There were plenty of sleeping options for everyone- a king bed, a rollaway cot, two sofa beds, and some floor mattresses. Everything was clean and checkin and checkout was easy. “This Lakeside retreat was perfect! Just what my family of 4 needed. We enjoyed looking out at the lake and swimming and fishing. Hot tub was a great activity at night. Campfires over looking the lake and watching the sunset. The house is very clean and comfy for a family of 4. The owner was very responsive. We also enjoyed going off on adventures in the area, wineries, Halifax, Mahone Bay and the local meat market Oulton's. A must to visit if you love animals. They have all kinds of exotic cool...

One night they had friends over until 11:45pm.
