“Property was OK, although not a good value for the money. On the web, it looks like a quaint little wine hotel - reality is, not so much. Worst part is the giant TV blaring sports from breakfast until night time - the opposite of what a wine hotel should have.”

“The upstairs rooms are very dark very small and very noisy because the kitchen crew are working right outside below till after 1 am. They would not let us have breakfast because we did not have reservation, and there were only 3 tables being served. You would inn guests would be seated for breakfast. Very over priced for the experience we got.”

“The Stavrand is a beautiful property nestled in the redwoods just a few minutes walk from downtown Guerneville. The front desk and dining room staff were friendly and helpful. We brought kayaks, for which we were shown a safe place for storage. My disappointments were: (1) the swimming pool was quite cold, and the jacuzzi was not very hot and had no operative jets, (2) housekeeping did not come clean our room during our 2-night stay, and (3) the room, though lovely, had no real separation of bed...
