“Our sheets were dirty when we pulled down the bed. There were two hairs and crumbs on the sheet. When I told the front desk clerk the next day before checking out, he said he would ask the housekeepers if they changed the sheets and get back to me. I thought that was a crazy response, and of course I never heard from them!”

If you are staying in one of the other rooms like we did that face the parking lot with no ocean view nor space to sit outside your room, then paying $360 for a mid-week night was not worth it. Our room was dated and the window did not lock (the mechanism to close the window was missing). We didn’t stay for the continental breakfast served out of a small shed in the morning.
