Castelli a Ayr

“Hotel bello, in stile retrò/marino.

“I had the best stay here! Sinclair was an amazing host, as well as the rest of the staff st the guesthouse too. I loved the little touch of the cookies and the bottles of water in the room too. Breakfast was tasty too. I would recommend anyone to stay here, I know I’ll be coming back here when I’m next in Ayr. Thank you all at the Lochinver Guesthouse!”

“Friendly helpful staff, clean room slightly tired, excellent breakfast with quality sausages and bacon! Friday and Saturday nights can be quite loud outside the hotel being a city centre location.”

“Great location, walking distance to everything. Spacious studio, modern and clean.”

“The suite was fantastic. The room was comfortable and well stocked. The tub/shower was a little bit of a challenge to get in and out of. But the bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet. The restaurant downstairs was outstanding. Parking in back was tight but easy to use. The contactless entry and use was easy to use. Instructions provided were easy to follow.”

“Really nice room. Bathroom was lovely (some hairs in sink when we arrived, but not that a big deal). There was a wedding on in the hotel, with music heard thumping in our room until quite late (we’re not killjoys, but it was impossible to sleep and very loud). It would have been good to know this when booking, as we would have looked elsewhere. Called down to ask reception and they were dismissive and a bit rude. Also loud music heard in room in the morning as well.”

“A very clean and spacious room in an excellent location with on site parking. The host was extremely friendly and very helpful. We would definitely book this property again.”

“By far the most imamculate and well-looked after apartment I've ever stayed in. Everything was thought of: there was tea & coffee, fresh towels, blankets, washing up liquid, soap, crockery, cooking utensils. There were instructions for everything, and plenty of tips/ideas, as well as local food menus & recommendations, in the info folder. The beds were extremely comfortable, and there were plenty of sockets throughout the apartment. There were board games, books, and local guidebooks. The...

“Hotel tutto sommato carino , personale decisamente poco cortese ho dormito malissimo a causa del rumore delle finestre per via del vento.. la doccia era praticamente senza acqua con uno strano sistema di gestione elettrico che rendeva l’acqua o bollente o ghiacciata la colazione molto triste .. poco personale e decisamente una scelta molto contenuta ”

“Easy communication by the team before entry, key safe easy to sort and access easy. Place was left clean and warm on arrival. Area is OK, lots of free parking right outside the door, a Chippy next door but one, Bakery across the road and a few little corner shops only minutes away with Ayr town centre only 5 minutes walk away. The place is a ground floor flat in a converted house with a double bed (a very comfy bed), sitting area with a good kitchen and clean bathroom. Will definitely used...

“Location is wonderful. Parking permit is not available and this makes things a bit difficult.”
