I stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and complained about the same issue with the carpet. In my opinion, if you're going to allow pets, floors should not be carpeted. I have been in other hotels where the floors are tiled and makes cleaning better and odorless. I really like the friendliness, breakfast, clean beds and bathrooms, BUT...

“Me and my family stayed at this hotel for a week. At first, there was a little mess up about one of our rooms (we booked 2 queen size but only got 1) but it wasn’t too big a deal since we were all family anyways. Plus the hotel provided us a small rollover bed. What we really enjoyed was the super friendly staff. Everyone we met at front desk was nice and helpful. “We wouldn’t stay here again. The room was just okay :/ The shower had lukewarm water at best, showers were cold and uncomfortable. Breakfast was disgusting. The eggs tasted like the pan they had been cooked in. They were inedible and extremely greasy. The bedroom linens were very obviously stained. The room was pleasantly cool but humid and sticky if that makes any sense. Location was good.”

“The property was somewhat clean but poorly maintained. The microwave didn't work, the soap dispensers didn't work, the toilet was dirty when we checked in. The breakfast was poor, limited choices and limited quantity. The breakfast was for 2 hours and it seemed like they ran out of food after the first hour. If they failed in the noticeable things, I wonder how thoroughly they clean the carpet and the beds? Had to check out early for poor service.”

“It was like brand new everything was very clean. The staff was real nice. The breakfast was good. Everything was good except for one exception the elevators made a loud noise, going up and down kind of scary thinking they were gonna break down. As a matter of fact, one was broken and only the other one was running the morning when we got ready to leave to go to Six Flags, the elevators were both broken. We were on the fourth floor.
