“Graves mountain lodges is cozy, down to earth and has plenty to do. An area rich in history and natural beauty with none of the commercialization of typical resorts. We loved our cabin stay at wild wind - a refurbished old school house along the river. Very peaceful and had everything you could need. Great location close to Shenandoah and Rapidan River. There are plenty of activities and we loved the farm animals and the ability to hike around the grounds. The only critique would be that the...

“ Nice place. Good breakfast. It's a little tricky to get there if you're unfamiliar with the Charlottesville mixing bowl of intersections with 64. And I'd recommend better signage in the hallways to get back to the lobby. Otherwise it's great. I'll be back!”

“This is the best little redesign! I loved this hotel. It appears to be an older hotel that has been completely remodeled. It's fashioned as a mid-mod renovation. The room was huge, with plenty of room to spread out. My partner and I only spent one night here, but it was wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful! ”

The ground was breathtaking, the cabins were charming, the manor was carefully preserved and exquisitely decorated in every way, historical yet fully updated. The owners Jim and T were cheerful and friendly, and their dogs were quiet and sweet. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!”
