Hotel a Barnegat Light

“Do not book this motel. Our window was broken for the duration of the trip, which was addressed at arrival. We were told maintenance would come to fix it, but no one ever showed up. Someone ended up climbing in through our window at 7am, which is when we discovered the window didn’t even lock. Police were called and they talked to the staff about getting someone to come and fix the window. Our window was broken for our entire weekend trip. This situation actually took up most of our 4th of July....

“Clean room, helpful staff, proximity of the restaurant and beach were all plusses. Air conditioner and dehumidifier right next to the bed made sleeping a challenge. Would have been nice to have a coffee pot in the room too.”

“As soon as we got to our floor, the second floor, we were hit with the smell of cigarette smoke despite it being a non-smoking floor (maybe even hotel?). Throughout the night we kept getting whiffs of cigarettes throughout the room. The woman who checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. I liked the location as it is farther down from Fantasy Island and quiet, but still only a 3 minute drive to everything. Bonus, the beach is literally across the street. Basic hotel with all your needs. I was very happy with my stay.”

“This property needs to be updated. The bathrooms specifically were in poor condition. It is an older property so one may expect an average appearance; however, the bathrooms were not suitable. Otherwise the space was ok. It is a located well in terms of the Seaside Boardwalk.”
