Hotel vicino a beach near Century Park - Lorain

“This place is perfectly fine as a last-resort hotel. The manager was super nice and helpful, which I appreciated, and the rooms are fairly standard. But the property is not well-maintained, and let's just say that, based on the other guests and their activities, I would have been somewhat more comfortable sleeping with a samurai sword under my pillow.”

“Room was outdated and tub was old. Pool was not opened. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was bagels, cereal, yogurt and snack donuts.”

“This place is on the corner of what seems to be a busy street across the street from a Lowe’s hardware store. There is no view worth mentioning and pretty much looks like a no name Motel you would find while driving across country”

“We left after stripping the beds to find all types of stains (my friend thought he got bit by a bedbug, we didnt find any). Some obviously blood some obviously fecal. Also they were small and uncomfortable. The “blankets” were thinner than my sheets at home. I asked for couple of extra pillows and was told they only had 1 spare. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet. The breakfast? Definitely not continental.”

“Room was clean. I asked for extra pillows; they didn’t have any. The refrigerator was so load we unplugged it ao we could sleep”

“This property was unique for its depressing location, the utter inattention to physical maintenance of the property, and the feeling that you were in a seedy hotel which had just barely emerged from a recent brush with human trafficking networks. The overall vibe was depressing.”

“I love the room that I had. Lots of space. The room was supposed to sleep 3 but it had a simple couch not a sleeper sofa the add said. My son had to sleep on the cushions. Also the shower curtain was missing. The maintenence man took care of the curtain and brought us extra towels. He was the best. I brought these shortfalls up to the shift supervisor and they credited me for a 50% refund.”

“I was shocked to find dirty sheets on the bed.When I called reception they offered me a new room which I refused because it would have involved getting dressed, packing and moving at midnight. I asked them to change the sheets and receptionist said they were not responsible for room cleanliness. I reminded them that during a pandemic it particularly irresponsible to ignore basic hygenic protocols. “Clean room, excellent breakfast choices—best I’ve seen in a while. Check in lady was VERY GOOD about keeping my room number and information secure from being overheard by the man in line behind me. One real problem. The window in my 1st floor room was UNLOCKED upon arrival. This is SO unsafe. Someone could already have been inside, or someone could have entered during my stay, if I had not checked this.
