“We loved that this is an independent hotel and small business. The owner is a local and cares about Montclair. The interior is decorated brilliantly and has a clever motif. For example, the rooms don't have numbers, they have names. Inside each room you will find photos of famous people with that name. It's a fun game to guess who each of these people are and some of them may surprise you. Breakfast was included and some of the offerings came from local businesses. Parking was ample, which is a...

“This hotel feels like a mini getaway even if you just need a night or two for something close by. The employees from front desk to housekeeping are always kind, gracious & attentive to needs. I had to stay here a few times due to home repairs then transitioning through a move and every room is always well cleaned and the showers I could probably sleep in. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place and the staff.”

“Dirty room, paint peeling off the walls. Broken glass from the fire extinguisher box without a fire extinguisher in the entrance of hotel which is a safety hazard. Halls smelled like cigarettes. Ice machine but no ice bucket in the room or any cups”
