“Was an okay-average stay. Room was clean and a good size. There was a lot of sand on the floor in the bathroom when we got there, which it’s on an island. The only thing that bothered me was the TV didn’t work at all, and the ceiling fan was broken. The staff didn’t really do anything about it. Other than that, a decent place to stay if you’re not looking for the bells and whistles experience.”

“Hotel only opened a year ago and having a nice new room on block island is rare. Loved the place. Great location and wonderful amenities such as roof top deck and trendy restaurant/ bar. The check in process is different but seamless as no lobby.”

“THE INN AT OLD HARBOR IS LOCATED NOT FAR FROM WHERE THE FERRY BRINGS PEOPLE TO BLOCK ISLAND, IT IS A OLD HOTEL WITH NO AMENITIES OR AIR CONDITIONING. THE STAFF ACCOMODATED ALL REQUESTS AND WERE VERY HELPFUL,”

“The property is beautiful, and the room was clean and well appointed. We were unable to have full use of the amenities due to a buy out. When I asked what that was, I was told they had a wedding that weekend and we weren’t notified prior to that. That meant we were unable to use anything but our own room. We were disappointed that we were unable to have dinner in their highly rated restaurant. It would’ve been nice if we had known this ahead of time we may have opted for another property to stay...

“We really loved our two nights day at Phil and Ann‘s. The rooms were clean. The air-conditioning worked great the staff was wonderful. The room was quite small but recently updated so everything was new. The beds were comfortable pillows were nice linens, spelt clean, and fresh. Love the little amenities on the property fire pits, basketball volleyball, badminton little putt putt, mini golf. We would definitely stay there again to enjoy a few days in Rhode Island.”

“The employees, views were great. But: There was a green plastic floss pick the stood out on the dark carpet on the stairway. It was on the center of the step. Outside stairway going to the top level on Friday afternoon. Sunday afternoon it was still there. Maybe the floss pickup employee was on vacation during the weekend and the other employees had the “it’s no my job” attitude. I was tempted to pick it up but wanted to see how long it would sit there.”

“Very unique and inviting hotel. Easy going vibe. Pool was a great ammenity. Breakfast was tasty and top floor restaurant was a scenic way to end the day.”

“We visited Ballards with a group of friends to celebrate a 55th birthday, and we had a great experience. Three couples in our group stayed 2 nights, and the rooms were very nice, clean and quiet. Having an AC was a plus! We rented cabanas on the beach which made the experience even better. The food was very good, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Overall we had a great time celebrating at Ballard’s and would definitely...

“This may not be a 5 star or even technically a 3 star BUT it is the best deal for visiting the area. Less than 3 miles from the beach and 10 mins to Mystic. Rooms are small but comfy, good beds. Great pool and BBQ area. Big fridge and microwave. Great stay.”
