“The Cloran Mansion is absolutely beautiful! Paul, our host was wonderful from the time I booked a room until checkout. The breakfast was fresh and served in courses. I highly recommend this property for your next Galena visit.”

“As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more...

“Historic old building, beautifully remade into small hotel. The bathroom for our room was across the hall, although still private. We were skeptical about this, but it worked out just fine. Outstanding personal service by owner--attentive and helpful. Our bed had a duvet on it and the room was hot during the night. We would have much preferred lighter blankets that could be layered. Location downtown in historic district. Nice breakfast and outside eating area. We recommend!”
