“For starters, I would say this location is convenient for driving across the country. That being said, it's loud and busy because it is literally at a travel center with semi's coming through at all hours. Upon checking in, I let the front desk person know I am staying with a dog and a cat to which her response was rather odd, acting as though it's a miracle a dog and cat can live together and actually like each other. I'm assuming because of the dog, we were put in a room in a first floor...

“We were only there for a short time. The room was clean and beds comfortable. But not very warm and inviting. The hotel itself is run down and in need of a facelift..... new carpet etc. Breakfast was just adequate. ( Eggs were terrible)”

“HORRIBLE place and HORRIBLE customer service! When we arrived, the desk clerk was talking on her cell phone. She saw us and did not end her call or acknowledge us for approximately 15 minutes. We requested a handicap accessible room; however, we were assigned a 2nd floor room and there are NO elevators. We asked for any room available on the 1st floor...because I would not be able to carry my husband up and down the stairs! They claimed not to have any available and refused a refund. We booked...

“The checkin procedure is a bit awkward. Website says after 3pm, office door says they are there 10am-4pm, but not a person onsite. You text them when you arrive, waited about 30 minutes before getting response with door code. But it was a unique cool place. Very clean, great bed, shower and wifi. Lots of road noise but was ok for the one night we were there. Glad we tried it.”

“We had problems with our room key working and had to replace it 3 times which was frustrating. The property was on the older side and in need of some TLC but for our purposes, it was just fine. Pool looked nice but we didn't have time to check it out on this trip.”

“Somewhat run-down and in need of some updating, but, it is a budget hotel. Room itself was average but mostly clean.”

“Staff was very friendly, the ladies working the breakfast kept items filled and very friendly. Breakfast was okay, nothing spoecial, had no meat. Hotel was okay, the price was good for what we needed. If I ever stop in Joplin again, I will probably try one of the many other options.”

“King was not a true king, more of a queen size. Bed was so close to wall that we hit the metal frame every time tried to get in bed. Towels were threadbare. Room smelled of mold & stale smoke. Freezer did not work.”

“the outside door to the hall was NEVER locked. There were ZERO, no, 0 plugs in the room; the room needs to be updated. There were 3 of us and we had to unplug the coffee pot to plug in a phone charger and only 1 of us could charge something at a time. The mattress was EXCELLENT and the room was clean, the shower was good.”
