Hotel vicino a Buhr Park - Ann Arbor

“Clean room. Very quiet. Staff very pleasant. ”

“Food was horrific in the morning, coffee was cold at 6:30am. Hallway stunk of marijuana. Powder eggs and something in plastic that was in the warmer was breakfast. ”

“Staff friendly but had problems at checkin because we had two rooms. Resolved easily but … Placement of in-room coffee pot very poor for older guests. Ditto for microwave. Too low to reach easily or read controls. Absurd not to offer complimentary simple breakfast, given the price. Restaurant prices high. Will not use this hotel chain again and do not recommend it. There are other options with better amenities for lower costs”

“Worst night This is the first time in my life I’ve stayed in a hotel room with such poor soundproofing. I can hear everything from the room next door—even the sound of people talking and sneezing. What’s even worse is that the people next door didn’t go to sleep until 1:00 AM. I never want to stay here again.”

“Had bed bugs. Left the property as soon as they were found, now they’re not cooperating with refunding my money. Absolutely ridiculous, would stay ANYWHERE else. Personally will bring my tent next time as it is much nicer”

“The lobby, hallways and stairway was filthy. Hallway looked as though it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. I’ve never been to an Extended Stay that had nothing in the kitchen but one disposable plastic cup. No dish ware or utensils or any pots or even a dish.front desk closes early and opens lat 10 AM. ”

“The Vanguard in Ann Arbor went beyond my expectations! The room, lobby, restaurant and staff were exceptional! Our daughter was a student at U of M and we have stayed at many of the on-campus hotels throughout the years. The Vanguard is in a class of its own! I can't wait to stay there again!!! I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to everyone!!!”
