“I rarely leave bad reviews, but my stay at Candlewood Suites Watertown was honestly very disappointing. Carla at the front desk was kind and accommodating, and she was probably the only positive part of the experience. The room smelled terrible, like a closed unused room full of dust and mold. There were spider webs everywhere, flies inside the room, and the living room area smelled very bad, like it had not been cleaned or used properly for a long time. The curtains were broken, the windows...

“For starters the staff was very pleasant, room was clean, bedding was excellent, no issues with parking. Having a breakfast at the hotel is perfect and the choices were great for the days we stayed.”

“Staff (Mike) was knowledgeable, but others appeared new and poorly trained. The hotel has a tired appearance. The mold around edge of the tub. Sliding glass shower door replaced by curtain. Bed was clean but lumpy. Breakfast was Buffet and was lacking as hotel free breakfast fare goes. Turkey bacon looked like science experiment. It was the most expensive of the 4 hotels we stayed at this 5-day friends getaway weekend. Lake George has to make money in the summer, so I get the prices are wacky. ...
