Hotel a Camanche

“Loved the pool.”

“Nice breakfast buffet. Room was ok, bathroom was dirty, air conditioner was horribly loud, rattled all night. However, Expedia charged me more ($123.30) than the hotel charged (112.04). Expedia would not refund the difference, saying they charged me the lowest rate for the booking, NOT TRUE! My final bill at the hotel was $112.04. Expedia refused to return the difference. I will never use their service again and tell everyone about this incident.”

“Got static about me canceling the 2nd due to a family emergency over 2 hours away and he wasn't happy about it even tho I bought the last minute cancellation policy for both nights, I just gave up…”

“No water pressure in sink or shower. Shower head was old. Tub was angled towards wall making it uncomfortable to stand during shower. Breakfast was low quality-eggs had no flavor. Apple juice was warm.”

“Our stay at this property was like staying with family. The owners are very friendly and they made sure we didn't want for anything. The property was newly rehabbed, the beds were comfortable and the property was clean.”

“We chose this place as a last minute one night stay. That being the case it was OK. It had almost equal points on the OK and Good side. On the good side, our room looked to be recently renovated. The paint, fixtures, bed, etc all seemed to have been done recently. There were however a few things that were missing, There was an ironing board but no iron, no hair dryer though it was mentioned as an amenity, and a light bulb was missing from the vanity light fixture. “We reserved an Executive room through expedia and paid for that, but we were checked in to a small basic room. We were told it was expedias fault. AC makes a big loude noise , so was disturbing sleeping, a small shampoo tube, but was half empty, carpet felt sticky and dirty.”

“This is a new hotel and everything around it (restaurants, gas, carwash, liquor store, etc.) was new also. The area was very new and seemed safe with plenty of food options very close by, within walking distance. We even ran our car through the carwash to get all the bugs off of it. The hotel was nice, clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good, also.”

“So I dont know if it was Expedia or what, but I paid around 330 or 350 for 2 nights at this hotel for my family and I. The pictures and it had 4.5 stars with the reviews I had seen. Well maybe I should have done more digging but the hotel, for what I paid was not worth it. The pool and hot tub didnt look like it was cleaned for a while. It had green mold even in some places on the floor. The pool was foggy and the hot tub was even worse with the fog. It is not safe to swim in that alone....
