“Clean, everything you need, walking distance to beach, nice and quiet. Would be 5 star except sofa smells, plant overgrown on entrance to property and back door very stiff and hard to lock. Lovely little estate of pretty houses”

The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. We used the hotel to stay overnight before a Channel Tunnel crossing which was just 10 minutes away.
It was the cheapest hotel that I could find in the area and exceeded my expectations. The decor was improved from the hotel's appearance on Channel 4's "4 In A Bed" a few years previous.
Slightly disappointed that they don't offer breakfast, but Gingers in Hythe...
