“I came to see the beautiful mountain range at sunset and to soak in the hot tubs. Next time I’ll do both. Minden is charming. My kitchen suite made me feel at home. I look forward to another visit. Take Care. Thank you.”

“hi when i checked in, there was no hot water, and even a call to the front desk asked to continue run the hot water for 10-15mins. I did so and still no hot water. I have requested for a room change. However, when I requested for an earlier room cleaning, only the bathroom towels were replaced, nothing else. Overall, it was not a pleasant staying experience. I would say the chances for next stay is low with this chain.”

“It was a quiet lodge. No staff were around, which wasn't an issue for our 1 night stay. The room was comfortable, and nicely decorated. A few bottles of water in the fridge would be a nice addition. We appreciated the hot cocoa and tea selection as non-coffee drinkers.”

“Black Bear Lodge was such a nice surprise! The rooms and decor are tasteful and very comfortable, and the true test is the quality linens and towels and extra pillows without asking. The grounds show personal touches like flower beds, raised planters, terraced areas with multiple seating options, and best of all is the total peace and quiet. You are close to South Shore if that is your thing, and skiing at Heavenly in winter is right up the road—you can see Gun Barrel from your room. The staff...

“Nice hot tub”

“Clean and spacious room minutes walking distance to Heavenly Village. If you are just looking for a clean room, close to everything, this is the spot for you. Nothing fancy, but staff was very friendly and helpful, and we didn't have to drive anywhere.”

“I always enjoy my stay at Eco Lodge when I am traveling for work. The staff is amazing and always greets us very well. Breakfast is also good and rooms are always clean.”
