DESCRIZIONE
Questo cottage completamente rinnovato è una delle case sulla spiaggia originali del Carmelo, immerso in un tranquillo bosco di querce secolari su un terreno privato di dimensioni doppie. Situato nel cuore del centro di Carmel, questo cottage si trova a pochi passi da tutti i grandi ristoranti, gallerie e sale di degustazione, e solo a poche porte da dove Dylan Thomas, Robinson Jeffers e Henry Miller tenevano saloni in città con altri celebrità durante i primi giorni della scena artistica del Carmelo. Questa casa 2BR / 2BA è stata completamente aggiornata con servizi moderni, pur mantenendo l'autenticità e il carattere della casa originale, tra cui pavimenti in legno di pino, camino in pietra Carmel e finestre in vetro ondulato.

Ogni camera ha un lussuoso letto king-size orientale con lenzuola in cotone egiziano a 1200 fili, copripiumino in lino belga e fodere per cuscino. Tutto è al top della linea. Ognuno dei letti king può essere convertito in due letti singoli XL separati, se necessario.

Goditi il WiFi gratuito ad alta velocità in business class e la TV Xfinity con comando vocale.

C'è anche una guest house separata su questo lotto di dimensioni doppie che può ospitare 2 persone con cucina e bagno privati ed è disponibile a un costo aggiuntivo. La struttura dispone di un ingresso e un percorso privati attraverso i giardini ed è separata dalla casa principale da una recinzione, quindi non ci sono linee di vista dirette tra i due. We had a delightful experience in Carmel and at Barry’s cottage. It was charming, close to the main village and very well appointed. Barry was available as the need arose and quickly responded to our queries. It was outfitted with a well equipped kitchen with fine cookware and appliances. It lacked for nothing. I would recommend it to anyone.

A beautiful cottage that captures the magic of Carmel, this two-story house in the trees reminds one of the little bohemian hideaways that used to dominant the streets of California's most beautiful beach town. Barry has done a fantastic job of renovating with new bathrooms and kitchen, and beachy decor. Beds are super comfortable. If you're mobility challenged as my husband is, you'll be able to skip the stone steps down to the house and follow a path curving through the garden to the backdoor. Barry was an exceptional host, even bringing a special dessert for our last day. Thank you, Barry, for sharing your oasis with us. We can't wait to return.

Wonderfully appointed property. Quintessential Carmel cottage with historic looking fireplace and cozy couches. We celebrated Christmas and Hanukkah here and it was lovely. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and entertain and the twinkle lights added to the holiday spirit. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable beds. Will stay here again. The owner is super attentive and generous host.

This cottage is so cute and in an ideal location! I would 100% stay here again. The host Barry went above and beyond with communication and fantastic surprises along the way. Don’t walk but run to book this! The beds were so comfortable, the fireplace was dreamy, the movies that he’s so thoughtfully had set up in advance or spot on.. We absolutely loved this place and will be back again!

I have stayed in many different rental homes from Boston, Nashville, Hilton head, Colorado, etc. This by far was perfect. The manager, Barry; goes beyond your wildest expectations. He must love what he does because everything is very thought out on every detail. This cottage is so charming we ate breakfast on the patio every morning. Don’t pass this place up.I can’t wait to return.

This property is fabulous. It has a quiet comfortable feel. with a mix it's glorious history, and the comforts of modern-day conveniences. The location is with-in walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beach. Barry's hospitality exceeded our expectations. Add in the special surprise treats that showed up from time to time, and our stay couldn't have been any better. We'll be back.

This was our first visit to Carmel. We loved the area , and location of the cottage. you can walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. Barry was a wonderful host. Very communicative, and has so many lovely touches to make your stay memorable and comfortable. The bedding was SO comfy! The area has so much to offer with Big Sur close by and so much more. We loved it so much, we rebooked another trip!

After a difficult year of medical challenges, my wife and I choose to spend our vacation in the Lavender Cottage in Carmel by the Sea and it was an absolutely fantastic decision. The cottage is exactly as advertised and the reviews of Barry (the owner) were spot on. All the little things Barry did to make our stay comfortable were amazing and made our vacation memorable. The cottage and property were outstanding, the location is hard to beat and Carmel is now one of our favorite places to visit. We cannot more strongly recommend the Lavender Cottage to anyone looking for the "white glove" treatment - thanks for everything Barry.

We had the best time at this most adorable cottage! It was perfectly appointed and so incredibly comfortable and cozy. We loved everything about it from the delightful gardens and peaceful neighborhood (in an incredible location), to the beautifully decorated interior and comfort of the home. It was immaculate. Barry was lovely: very thoughtful and communicative- making sure we were settled well and had everything we needed. What a perfect getaway! We can’t wait to return!

We were enchanted with our 9 day stay! Every detail is curated and crafted for ultimate enjoyment. Barry is the consummate host: Professional, privacy minded, responsive, kind, and loving. Our family had the most wonderful time in at this cottage in Carmel. Barry was an excellent host and made sure all of our needs were met. The kids just loved staying here and were constantly entertained by this place’s charm. I can’t think of anything that would have improved our stay. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in the future. Thank you for a trip we’ll never forget!
