“Alnwick is a small but comfortable cottage with every amenity you can think of. A carport turned into a sun porch gives you more room for dining and relaxing. Guests also have the use of a beautiful back garden. If you are there for the Shaw Festival, it's a 15 - 20 minute walk to the Festival and Royal George Theaters. Pauline is a welcoming hostess, but gives you your privacy. She will also spoil your dogs with homemade treats! We would definitely stay there again.”

“We loved that the neighborhood was quiet and walkable.Our favorite part was the backyard - a serene place with flowers, fenced in private and with a grill and fire pit. We were able to purchase firewood nearby for 5.00 a bundle and had a fire every night. “Had a relaxing weekend with fun activities on our doorstep. Could walk or bike ride to most activities. Lovely beds and linen, hot showers and easy to cook in kitchen. ”

“When you arrive, you will be greeted by many friendly animals! Dawn is really easy to communicate with and timely in responses. The Hoblet was the perfect size for my husband and I on our honeymoon. One thing we wish we knew prior to our stay would be the toilet situation with not flushing toilet paper due to their septic. One thing we love, is that the money we spent on our stay goes directly to supporting the animals with food and comfort. ”
